Strategic restructuring of the brokerage business in Brazil:
- In July an agreement for the merger of the homebroker business of CGD Securities with RICO CTVM was announced. This merger will lead to the second biggest independent online investment platform in Brazil. Pursuant to this agreement and, subject to the approval of the Central Bank of Brazil, CGD Group will hold a 51% stake of RICO CTVM.
- In November the close down of CGD Securities’ institutional brokerage activity was announced.
